THE SAUNA CULTURE

Sauna Culture comes with a few simple guidelines and policies to ensure the best experience!

CHECK-IN & PREPARATION

  • Check-In: You must check in before using the space. For new guests, a member of our team will guide you through the process of getting ready for your session. For members we will check you in or if you are walking in we will confirm with you that there is space available.
  • Check-Out: We will also check you out before your session begins.
  • Preparation: We will provide you with towels and you will be able to leave your belongings in the locker room.
  • Attire: Swimwear is required for both men and women. Women can choose to wear an athletic bra and shorts if preferred. For the cold plunge only one layer of swimwear is allowed.
  • Ready: No shoes are allowed inside the wet spaces or in the sauna. We have cubbies right outside of the wet area for you to keep your shoes in.

WALK-IN & WAITLIST POLICY

  • Whether you are a member or not we highly encourage you to book your session in advance, especially for weekends and weeknights. That will guarantee your spot.
  • If you arrive without a reservation and the space is full, we can add you to the waitlist.
  • The waitlist will be managed in the order of arrival for walk-ins.

YOUR SESSION IN THREE STEPS

  • ONE: Spend ten to fifteen minutes in the Sauna
  • TWO: Rinse off before entering the cold plunge
  • THREE: Plunge for three minutes

We recommend completing 3 to 5 rounds in one session for optimal benefits.

SAUNA USAGE

  • We have two traditional Finnish Saunas that are heated between 190°F and 200°F.
  • We suggest spending 15 minutes at a time in the sauna for a safe and effective practice.
  • It’s essential to stay hydrated before, during, and after your sauna session. We have a water dispenser with cool and filtered water. We also sell water bottles, electrolytes and other refreshments that will keep you hydrated.

COLD PLUNGE USAGE

  • We have four cold plunges that are maintained between 37°F to 50°F.
  • Each cold plunge session is limited to 3 minutes. This is optimal for thermal contrast therapy, allowing you to experience full benefits while also ensuring better flow, functionality and cleanliness in the space.

GENERAL SPACE USAGE

  • You are welcome to use headphones to listen to music or other media during your session. However, speakers are not allowed, and please ensure your headphones are not turned up too loud to avoid disturbing others.
  • Keep in mind that the sauna’s heat can damage electronics, so please use devices with caution or leave them outside of the sauna in the cubbies.
  • We promote human connection and ask that you remain mindful of those around you. Please practice self awareness and respect by keeping noise levels at a normal conversation —no screaming or loud conversations. We want everyone to have a peaceful, fun and enjoyable experience.

PAUSE/CANCEL MEMBERSHIP

  • A 30 day cancellation notice is required
  • To cancel your membership, please contact us via email at frontdesk@sauna-culture.com
  • Cancellations must be made at least one month in advance before your next billing cycle.
  • If cancellation is received less than one month before the next billing cycle, the membership will be charged for the upcoming month.

  • When booking a session, no payment is processed until you physically arrive at Sauna Culture and check out. The only exception is for Private Suite bookings, where our system automatically charges you at the time of booking.
  • All sessions, memberships, and events are final sale and non-refundable.
