Sauna near Freedom Park in Myers Park, Charlotte

Seven minutes from Myers Park. The closest authentic Finnish sauna for the Queens-and-Providence corridor.

Sauna Culture is seven minutes northeast of Freedom Park — the closest traditional Finnish sauna to the park, Queens University, and most of the Myers Park residential core.

From Myers Park: about 7 minutes to our Cotswold storefront at 274 S Sharon Amity Rd Unit 1.

Myers Park doesn't have a sauna inside the neighborhood — but we're seven minutes northeast of Freedom Park up Providence Road, which makes us the closest traditional Finnish option for almost everyone south of Queens University.

Most of our Myers Park regulars are 5pm-after-work and weekend-morning visitors. Both windows have steady parking and quieter shared rooms.

Getting here from Myers Park

From Freedom Park on East Boulevard: head east on East Blvd to Providence Road, take Providence north past Queens University, right on Randolph Road, then right on Sharon Amity Road. We're on the right with parking out front. Door-to-door is typically seven to ten minutes from the Freedom Park lot, a touch longer from the Queens campus.

Myers Park and Sauna Culture

Myers Park has the demographic that makes sauna a regular practice rather than a one-off: people running Freedom Park loops, lifting, training for events, prioritizing recovery. The 4-visit membership is the most common plan among Myers Park members — twice a week, evening sessions, dovetailed with the morning run.

Why we're a good fit for Myers Park

Most of the wellness options actually inside Myers Park are infrared studios or chain offerings. If you've tried those and want to know what the real thing feels like — the kind of sauna research is based on — we're the closest one to your home.

Several of our Myers Park regulars made the switch after running the Freedom Park loop year-round and realizing the cool-down rinse at their old studio wasn't doing what they thought it was doing. The real cold plunge after a real Finnish sauna lands differently.

A Freedom Park routine that works

Most Myers Park members anchor a visit to either a Freedom Park run or a Queens University-area walk. The pattern: park at Freedom Park, run the 1.5-mile loop, drive seven minutes northeast on Providence to Randolph to Sharon Amity, and ride out a 90-minute sauna and cold-plunge rotation while the legs settle. Total time including the run, about two hours.

The evening version skips the run: leave Myers Park around 6pm, sauna at 6:15, finish around 7:45, home by 8. Quieter than the after-work gym window, no equipment competition, and the cold plunge does more than the shower at the gym ever did.
