Ice Bath Therapy in Charlotte, NC

Cold plunge as a focused therapy modality — three temperatures to dose appropriately. Pair with sauna for full contrast.

'Ice bath' and 'cold plunge' are the same idea: a brief, controlled cold-water immersion. Three temperatures here means you can match the dose to your tolerance — beginner-friendly through advanced.

What the practice does

Sharp norepinephrine spike (alertness, focus, mood). Reduced inflammation after exercise. Better tolerance for stress over weeks of practice. The acute effects show up fast; the long-term effects show up over weeks of consistency.

Dosing your plunge

Start in the beginner tank. 30 seconds is fine. After a few visits, try intermediate. After a few weeks, advanced. Don't chase pain — chase consistency.
