Cold Plunge in Charlotte, NC

Individual cold plunges at three temperatures — beginner, intermediate, advanced. Not a shared communal tub. Included with every visit.

Included with every visit

Most spas with a cold plunge have one big tub everybody shares. Same temperature for the gentle first-timer and the daily plunger. Same water everyone climbed into all day.

We didn't want that. So we built three individual cold plunges at three different temperatures — beginner-friendly, intermediate, and advanced. You pick the dose. You don't share the water.

What’s included

  • Three individual cold plunges at three temperatures
  • Beginner: gentle introduction — accessible if you've never done this
  • Intermediate: the middle ground most regulars use
  • Advanced: serious cold for serious plungers
  • Included with every visit — sauna, day pass, or membership

Why three temperatures

The first rule of cold plunging is dose. Too cold too soon and you tense up, breathe shallow, and don't get any of the benefits. Too warm and you might as well skip it. The right temperature is the one you can stay in long enough to do something useful — usually 1 to 3 minutes.

Three temperatures mean three doses. Start where you start, work toward the next one when you're ready. We'll suggest a starting point if you're new.

What cold plunging actually does

A short cold immersion triggers a sharp spike in norepinephrine — a neurotransmitter that increases alertness, focus, and mood for hours afterward. That's the buzz people are chasing.

Over weeks of consistent practice, cold exposure has been shown to improve circulation, lower inflammation markers, support healthy fat metabolism, and — paired with sauna — produce measurably better recovery from training.

It's not magic. It's not a hack. It's a tool that works when you use it consistently.

Pairing cold plunge with sauna

On its own, a cold plunge is a quick wake-up. Paired with the sauna — heat first, cold after, rest, repeat — it becomes contrast therapy, which is where most of the long-term benefits live.

Our cold plunges are steps from the sauna door. You can do a full rotation in three to five rounds inside a 90-minute visit without rushing.

Why Sauna Culture

Three temperatures means you don't have to be ready for the deep end on day one. Individual basins means you're not climbing into water someone else just climbed out of. Included with every visit means no upsell.

Frequently asked

How cold is it?
Beginner sits around 55°F, intermediate around 50°F, advanced down to about 45°F. We adjust seasonally if needed.
How long should I stay in?
First-timers: 30 seconds. After a few visits: 1 to 2 minutes. Regulars: 2 to 3. The benefits don't scale much past 3 — you don't need to suffer.
Is this an ice bath?
Same idea, slightly different framing. We don't dump literal ice in — the temperatures are controlled. If you're searching for ice baths in Charlotte, this is what you're looking for.

Easiest way to try: book any session — day pass, membership session, or the two-week trial — and the cold plunge is included. No add-on. No upsell.
